Another MN city passes Tobacco 21

Earlier this month, the Excelsior City Council voted unanimously in favor of becoming the 13th city in Minnesota to raise the age to purchase tobacco products from 18 to 21. Excelsior joins more than 340 cities nationwide and 12 Minnesota cities that have adopted Tobacco 21, including Bloomington, Edina, Plymouth, St. Louis Park, North Mankato, Shoreview, Falcon Heights, Roseville, Minneapolis, St. Peter, Richfield and Minnetonka.

Feeling Good MN is supporting efforts across the state on similar policies as well as the statewide Tobacco 21 legislation. If you want to help your community and the entire state of Minnesota raise the age to purchase tobacco to 21 years old, sign the American Heart Association petition today!
